Spoiler Alert: Halloween Horror Nights 2011 Possible House List

Halloween Horror Night 2011 Speculated House List

Universal Studios Orlando is hosting their 21st Halloween Horror Nights event this year. It has been tougher than ever to decipher clues about this year’s theme and houses due to a massive social media campaign from Halloween Horror Nights. Instead of all of the clues being found on their home page, Halloween Horror Nights has been tweeting, facebooking, and mailing fans all sorts of disjointed clues. We have been wading through all of the updates for you. Full list of possible houses are below. This is all speculation until Universal Studios does the full Halloween Horror Nights 2011 reveal.

Eight Halloween Horror Nights 2011 Houses listed in no particular order.

  • Graveyard/Crypt – Probably our icon house with Lady Elizabeth Hawthorn who lived – and died in the 1800’s
  • World War I type warzone hospital with life sucking nurses
  • Saws n Steam Utopian House
  • Pirate House possibly based on the 4th ship of Christopher Columbus or the 4th voyage
  • Literary House – Possibly Edgar Allen Poe
  • Occult/demon house
  • Humor house based on campy horror TV - more than likely a television studio
  • The Thing

Should have confirmation on these houses on September 1st.

I'm actually really disappointed with this list. It seems a bit cheesy...

The real test of how good this will end up being is how they will tie in their casino theme. There is a lot of speculation about how many "faces" our icon will have and if/how the houses will tie it all together.

Unfortunately I don't think Universal counted on how much their social media push alienated some fans that don't have the time to search in five places for clues. After watching those streams since they started and seeing how complicated the back stories are, I can say I am more impressed and excited (so far) for this year than I had been for last year.
