SeaWorld Orlando is adding a “Sea of Trees” to its Christmas Celebration. It will feature 74 holiday trees (as tall as 30 feet) along the water — decorated, lit and choreographed to an orchestral soundtrack.
The theme park is increasing its holiday decoration throughout the park, including at the entrance and around Shamu Stadium.
Returning this year is the Winter Wonderland on Ice skating show that debuted in 2009 on the Bayside Stadium stage. Look for the show to be expanded.
Guests will be able to see other returning shows ”Shamu Christmas — Miracles,” “Clyde & Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas” and “A Sesame Street Christmas.” Nights will end with a fireworks and fountains show.
The Wild Arctic attraction, a rollicking simulator, again will morph into the Polar Express Experience based on the Tom Hanks film.
SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration begins Nov. 26 and will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 12. It will kick into an every-night schedule on Dec. 17 and remain through Jan. 2.
