The Disney Star Tours ride will be undergoing "reimagining" at both the Disney World and Disneyland parks.
The Star Tours ride will remain open for the Star Wars Weekend celebration but will then close on July 27th 2010 with an anticipated reopening on May 20th 2010 at Disneyland and on September 8th 2010 in Disney World Orlando with a possible reopening on May 10th 2010.
When it reopens in 2011 the ride will be a whole new experience to those familiar with the ride. The reimagined ride will feature a 3D experience that will take guests all through the world of the Star Wars galaxy.
